Crossover Events

The Midwest Morris Ale meets the Marlboro Morris Ale

The Midwest and Marlboro Ales are two of the premiere Morris dance events in North America. Since both events are held on Memorial Day weekend, most Morris teams and dancers attend one or the other (although there are a few teams who have been to both!).

For the 2020 spring season, both the Midwest and Marlboro Ales have transitioned to hosting Virtual Ales in an online format. Morris dancers are no longer planning travel to separate events separated by 1000 miles. For the first time, we have the opportunity to get to know other teams in the broader Morris community in North America.

2020 Crossover Events

1. Live Stream Mass Stand. Both Ales have a strong tradition of teams presenting show dances. We have coordinated our schedules so that attendees can view both Live Stream Mass Stands and check out the top-notch dancing from across North America!
