Team Time

Welcome to Team Time!

Team Time is an effort to highlight Midwest Teams and their personalities in a unique touring experience. Each Midwest Team will be hosting an hour during the Ale doing something that brings them joy and gives you an opportunity to meet them and get to know them better. This is an excellent opportunity for you to make best friends with your favorite Midwest Team!
Team Time! Team Time! Party On! Excellent!

Team Team Time! Description

Bells of the North

Twin Cities, MN

Soup, Salad, or Sandwich

The Bells will be hosting a game of Soup, Salad, or Sandwich! Is a Pimms cup a soup (liquid) or a salad (chopped fruits and veggies)? Are tacos salads (small pieces mixed together) or sandwiches (meat held together by starch)? Come with some foods you’d like to categorize, and we’ll debate what they are!

The Braggarts and Brackleberry

Twin Cities, MN

Root beer floats, Ice Cream Sundays, no glitter but lots of sprinkles. Come enjoy Brackleberry and Braggarts Boast the best team time ever. Bring your own ice cream and toppings and be ready to share your favorites.
Braintrust We’ve joked that our team hobby is biometrics: at one of our first practices we had to stop drinking and get out a tape measure to settle a disagreement, and since then we’ve brought thermometers, ring sizers, and sphygmomanometers to our practice weekends. Just to be safe, many of us have taken to carrying a tape measure in our kit bags.

So for this team time, we’ll ask you to, from the comfort of your own home, find a tape measure and we’ll collectively record a few easy biometrics together and discuss how understanding the mechanics of and differences among our bodies impacts our dancing, helps us understand each other as dancers, and helps our team dance together.
