We know that we are really excited to spend time together! In response to a survey of the Morris community, we have planned a weekend that minimizes long bus rides and other risks.
What to expect
FRIDAY
- 3-9 Covid test / registration, silent auction check-in
- 6-9 Rolling dinner
- 7 Parent meeting
- 9-? if needed, call for covid test / registration (number will be posted)
- 9-? snacks and pizza
SATURDAY
Morning:

- 7-9 Breakfast
- 7:45 squires meeting
- 9-10 Mass dance workshops
- 10-12 Mass dancing and show dances at camp
Afternoon:
-
- 12-1 Lunch
- 1:30-2:30 Diversity, equity and inclusion workshop for all
- 2:30-4
- Lawn games, such as bocci, croquet, horseshoes (people can bring games to share)
- Board games and puzzles (people can bring puzzles and games to share)
- Kite-making workshop, if weather cooperates
- Pick-up dancing
- “Tours” onsite: teams will be assigned times throughout the afternoon to roam about entertaining the people playing games and doing other activities
- 4-6 Covid retest
Evening:

- 6-7:30 dinner
- 8ish-11 Contra dancing / English country dance: We hope this will be outdoors, but that depends on the weather
SUNDAY
Morning:

- 7-9 breakfast
- 9ish-11:30 Standard workshops
Afternoon:

- 12-1 Lunch
- 1-5 Optional tours to Gov. Dodge State Park, 15 minutes from the camp. We will have one bus that will take groups over at staggered times. Participants are also encouraged to use their own vehicles.
- When people are not “on tour” they can participate in the same activities available Saturday afternoon or take hikes on the Bethel property.
- We might also extend workshops into the afternoon, depending on interest.
Evening:

- 6-7:30 dinner
- 7:45 silent auction ends
- 8ish-11 Skit night. Ideally, this will also be outside, weather permitting. Remembrances are part of this.
Monday
Morning:

- 7-9 continental breakfast
- 9ish-11:30 clean up, pack up and say goodbye!
