Arthur Knowles Memorial

We are holding a memorial service at Tapestry Folkdance on the Saturday after the Ale, June 3rd at 2-5 PM. All are welcome to attend.

Please join the folkdance community on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 2-5 at Tapestry Folkdance Center as we remember Arthur Knowles. There will be a Morris circle dance for all to join and a special Morris dance dedicated to Arthur, performed by Minnesota Traditional Morris. There will also be a Raoulite Death Day Ceremonial, an open mic session, and a closing toast and song.

Arthur Knowles starting dancing Morris in the 70’s. He is a long time member of Minnesota Traditional Morris, and attended the Midwest Morris Ale for many decades. Arthur was know for his twinkling presence and a pint at hand.

“Ed Stern had a gnome in front of his tent that he and Arthur always would fight about.”
