Welcome
We are once again returning to Bethel Horizons, in Dodgeville, WI! The Host Team is excited to welcome you to this year’s event, and we can’t wait to see you all again.
The 2024 Midwest Morris Ale will be held at Bethel Horizons, a beautiful facility in the Driftless Area of southwest Wisconsin, about 1 hour west of Madison. There will be both indoor and outdoor spaces for dancing and workshops.
Hosting team
The Host Team is made up of people from across the Morris community, from the Midwest and beyond… making us truly Driftless. We are committed to hosting a great Ale in a great venue in southwestern Wisconsin!
Registration
Registration for the 2024 Midwest Ale closed on May 2.
Housing options include unlimited space for tent camping, NEW cabins, several multiple-occupancy rooms (3-6 people per room), and a limited number of single person/pod rooms. When you register, you will have an option to provide the name of your roommates. Several nearby hotels are also an option,
Meals will be provided by the camp kitchen, with seating space in the indoor dining hall, as well as on the deck outside. You will have an option to specify your dietary needs and preferences when you register.
Schedule, Tours, and Activities
The weekend schedule is live!
This year we are touring on Saturday in the closest major city – Madison, WI – which is about ~1 hour bus ride. On Sunday we will tour locally in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin, about 15 minutes from camp.

Mass Dances
Mass dances are LIVE! Check out our Mass Dance page to find videos, detailed written instructions, and music. We are still adding even more links and resources to the Mass Dance page, so check back often. We will hold a Mass Dance instruction session and review on Friday night.
Shirts
Shirts will be available by pre-order online, separate from registration. Order ahead by May 14 and get your shirt shipped to your house in time to bring it to the Ale.
Financial Aid
The Midwest Morris Ale provides financial aid to community members for whom the cost of attending an Ale is a hardship. This is made possible through the generous donations of other members of the community. There is no age restriction or skill requirement. More information about financial aid coming soon.

Community Health Update
For the 2024 Ale, we have decided to move to a largely recommendation-based policy.
Additionally, we will be offering a new COVID-Cautious housing option, as well as adjustments to the refund policy, to support people choosing to stay home when they are ill.
