Morris Dancing Public events

Dancers from the Midwest Morris Ale will be in Colorado in 2026! Dancers from the Midwest Morris Ale will appear in public performances in Fort Collins on Saturday May 23 and Sunday May 24. Detailed schedule information is available below.

The tradition of Morris dancing originated in the Cotswold region of England. Today, Morris dancing is performed worldwide, and here in North America there are several dozen teams of dancers. The teams located in the Midwest and Mountain States gather together every Memorial Day weekend to dance together and renew friendships. This annual gathering is the Midwest Morris Ale!
